Granada – a city with a soul

Granada

The end of summer is here, and so it’s time to revert to old habits. I’m still running around between photo shoots and editing, but things I left unfinished from before the holiday season are still in my mind – the pictures I took then, really want to be shared!

Granada is a city which I highly recommend everyone to visit, and this is not just because of the Alhambra (which is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Europe and the world – more here). Granada is a multicultural city with a soul, and this is evident not just from its architecture. It is as of the streets were still alive with the legends of the Moors and with the sound of gypsy rhythms. You really have to walk through the neighborhoods of San Pedro, Sacramonte & Albaicín and immerse yourself in their ambiance. Lose yourself in the narrow streets of the city, climb their countless steps and admire the spectacular views of the Alhambra and Granada. Sitting in a square and to watch a flamenco show is a must.

Granada is a cosmopolitan city steeped in medieval history, where European and Arabic cultures intertwine and where a bohemian ambiance fills its streets. From here, you are only a short trip away from the beaches of the Costa del Sol and the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada.

Make sure not to leave Granada out of your plans – you won’t regret it!
